Oh Tracy I am so sorry to hear you hurt yourself again. How are you getting along? As for time on you hands. I read, watched alot of TV, embroidered, colored in colorbooks my hubby bought me with Gel Pens, yes I know, how immature. I soon got burnt out on that one, but in the beginning, it was all i felt like doing for entertainment after surgery. Now I am organizing the paid bills and paperwork that got put off for the last 3 months. When you move you can't find anything. Guess what? Today I vacuumed, with the walker right there by me, sat on the floor and scrubbed my kitchen floor. It was really dirty and hadn't had a good washing since my Mom left back to
Albuquerque in August. No mop, I scrubbed it good with ammonia. I even managed to do the dishes. My husband and son were quite impressed with appearance of the kitchen. I hate dirty dishes in the sink, but have tolerated it since the accident. I even washed them by hand. Our water is terrible here in Hobbs. I don't even drink it. Yuck. I've seen what it does to the shower doors, can you imagine what it does to our stomachs. Lol. Please feel free to write me anytime at motejzik@earthlink.net I have the laptop next to the bed on almost all the time. My days and nights are backwards and I am usually up all night, maybe I will get a few hrs of sleep and then I'm awake till my Hubby gets up for work, because I have to iron his clothes. That I do sitting down on the bed. You know what else I do? I go to www.shockwave.com and play Tetris or Alchemy, click on puzzles to find it. It's addicting. I can play for hours. I forgot about that. Also www.jigzone.com has jigsaw puzzles with beautiful pictures to put together. It is really fun if you like puzzles. Tracy, I hope to hear from you soon. You know, since we are new here in this town I have made only one friend, the lady at the Soc. Sec. office when I applied for disability on Monday. I'm waiting for approval now. But on this website, I have met so many wonderful people that I hope to keep in touch with even after I am healed. I'm confident, we'll actually meet in person. One girl lives here in the state of New Mexico. cool huh? Where do you live? Write and tell me about yourself. Talk to you soon.
