My appointment went very well today. The doctor said my x-rays look good. I graduated from that nasty back slab splint to a cam walker air cast. I can put pressure on my ankle while using my walker. I already tried it out. It feels wonderful to be able to ue it!! My good leg gets so tired carrying all of my weight around. :-) He said I'll be in it round the clock for at least two more weeks. (I can remove it to shower and use my bone stim though.) I have to sleep in it. That's not gonna be comfy, but then again, I haven't exactly been comforatable since I broke it. He said with a break as severe as mine, he wants me to go the full 8 weeks for sure, maybe more. I go back in two weeks.

And here's a little bit of oddity. I have lost 26 pounds since breakng my leg. Ha! Who would have guessed?
