I had another ORIF yesterday. It only took about an hour. OS had to put another screw in to stabalize one of the fractures. It has rotated. Apparently, that's what was causing me so much pain the since the last surgery. I didn't know it wasn't "normal" I just knew it hurt. It's much better now.

He said my sutures from the first surgery were healing nicely and he actually had to open me back up to do the surgery.

I have a post op in two days and another appointment at the end of the month. I am hoping for a cast soon - I think psychologically I'll feel better. I want to know that the ankle is supported.
