Hey Cea; see my heading under "Karl".Your Husband is lucky, as I got a new fibreglass cast on Dec. 5th/02, which is NWB(non weight bearing). Much pain/live on pain killers, plus old ruler for itchy spots. After 4 wks, people don't feel sorry for you anymore, like they did in the 1st week, or two, and can't figure out why it takes you ten mi. to get to bathroom for a simple pee! They should ALL try it with crutches/hopping on one leg ( at least when you had to go pee with 2 legs, you could hop from foot to foot) - not very easy, EH! (I AM CANADIAN)! Anyway, have also being going through major depression and feeling of helplesness, but we will heal, and pray that our loved ones don't go through this; - If they do, they will find that we are the most compassionate people that they could wish for - take care - Karl
