Cea my husband broke his tib and fib while hill walking.He had a spiral fracture to both tib and fib,a hairline fracture running up the lower part of broken tib and a hairline of the ankle bone.The Emergency room consultant set his leg in a cast that even though the bones where slightly dislocated,over time they have almost all healed straight.He has got to have an x-ray 9Dec and hopefully the tib which was straight but had not bridged properly will be nearly healed.My husband moans and is very impatient,to which I remind him he is lucky not to have a leg full of metal hardware.Can you and others out there tell him just how lucky he is.Lynn
