well today is friday, one day after a rod was put in my leg. all is going well and i am home, been here for just over an hour. the sugry went fine. i was in for almost an hour my mom said. there is some pain mostly in my knee but nothing a little med wont take care of. luckly i can now start putting some weight on it (under 50%) and i can start strengh training on my own. my ankle is so tight it is odd to try walking on it!! every one at the hospital was so nice to me. they all helped me with in a timely manner when i asked for anything. the one promble we had was with the removal of the old cast. the man who was cutting it off accdentaly cut the power cord. i dont think i have ever moved that fast in the cast. i saw a bright flash with sparks and heard a loud bang and that was it

butit is going to get easier now, thanks for all the thoughts and prayers and to Paul, Bor D, and Tommy for all the time they spent with me. Ahuge thanks and hug goes to mom who stayed all night with me and delt with a bad cold at the same time!
