Mine is a "sports" brace. It's white plastic with hinges on either side of the ankle and a flat black plastic piece under my heel. It sort-of bends as I move. Definitely not an air brace or cloth tie-up. One big velcro strap holds it together around my ankle. The brand name is "Atom." I've seen it on various web sites. The OS handed it to me when I screamed to get out of the boot. I finally used it several weeks later.
