I have a distal fibula spiral fracture. Have a hard cast (no surgery) and have been sitting in a recliner for 1 1/2 weeks. Had a doctor appt yesterday, no bone movement yet, but it can still happen!!! Doctor will not give me a timeline for this injury - waiting for new bone growth and no movement of bones. I am about to jump out of my skin. I must way, I would rather sit in this recliner than use those crutches - they are so scary!! I am being optimistic because it could have been alot worse.
