Ok, so every time I think I'm past the time when this is really going to hurt, my bones prove otherwise. I had PT again yesterday, and once again got to do the BAPS board for my ROM. That is a tough one to do on the inside rotation where my right foot just doesn't want to roll. By the time I go forward and backward about 6 or 7 times, my ankle is really aching. Then I got to do lunges. I was to lunge forward onto this inflated foot pad, which when you land with your foot, jiggles and wiggles all around. When I was balancing on my good foot and lunging with the bad, I could do it fairly well. When the roles were reversed and I had to balance on my bad foot and lunge with the good, oh my gosh, you've got to be kidding! I was laughing so hard at my clutziness I could not do it. We then decided to try on the flat floor; yeah, not much better! Great for a good laugh though. By now, my foot was not happy, so once I got home, it was up on the pillow and iced. I keep thinking I am past that. NOT! And last night, I literally woke up with a throbbing ache from my knee down, and it still feels that way. Today I think I won't push it quite so hard. It hurts!!! Argh!!!
