Hi Annie,

Thought I'd leave a message on "your side", too. I'm glad you have such a good sense of humor about this. That is the attitude that I am taking. You can't change it, so you may as well make the best of it. This has changed my life in ways I wouldn't have imagined. I have worked for 40 years, and could probably count the sick days I have taken on one hand (until now!). I didn't think work could ever survive without me. But you know what? It has. And I'm almost beginning to like being home for a while. I get between one and nine calls a day from work with questions and my boss likes to just call to shoot the breeze, so I know what's going on there, but I kinda like spending time at home with my bulldog Annabelle during the day, just her and me. She looks at me when I talk to her like she knows what I'm saying. They just love you uncondionally, don't they? She loves to lay straight across my cast and sleep. I figure my BL days are numbered now...I'm on the downside and it's time to enjoy the remaining days. Of course I haven't been to PT yet; that might change things! But it's getting nice out, warming up, and I can't wait to get on the Harley and take off for the day. I meant to ask you one thing...Will you go out in the snow and ice now without a cell phone (if you have one)? I had mine with me and I don't know what I would have done if I couldn't have called into my son's house to tell him I was flopping around in his driveway. I don't think I could have made it back to his house. I knew my cell phone would save me one day, and it did! Take care and keep up great attitude!!
