Saw your post on the discussion... I am having the opposite problem, I think. Can do some weight on the extension (they won't let me do more than about 10-15 pounds, but it's something). Anyway, extension doesn't hurt and is easy -- feel like I could do much more weight. On the other hand, can't do hamstring curls at all! (I am a small woman, but used to be able to do 80 lbs on both extension and curl.) I had a rear medial meniscus tear, so that's inhibiting flex. Also, my break (medial tib plat, the bad kind) also goes through the front of the tib, so flex actually pulls on the fracture, I can feel it.
Anyway, both the scar tissue in the front and around the kneecap, as well as the meniscus problem in the back, are inhibiting my ROM. Nevertheless, I am still working on it, and feel like I am ready for PWB, although they say 2 more weeks (now in week 8).
