Hi Ann. Not sure how your surgery will go and how long in the hospital. I had mine the same day. I fell down the steps on Father's day. Broke the tib/fib in 3 places and dislocated my ankle. I had 14 screws and a plate put in. I only spent one night in the
hospital. You will need help at home so probably depends on that too. I went home in a half cast wrapped up in tons of cotton and ace bandages. I hope it all goes smoothly for you. good luck!
