Well I don't need the right shoe after all. I tried an old pair of tennies, and my rt foot is still so swollen I can't get it on my foot, even with taking out the laces. So, for now, I am wearing a pair of 2 strap slip on Romika's (kind of like Clarks) with no heel strap. I would like to have a pair of walker/ runners (ha ha...running!) just to give me more support when i do walk with the brace and walker. Aaaugh...I just used the words "support" and "walker" in the same sentence...I sound like I'm 85 years old.

The dog and I are waiting for todays dog walker to arrive. I'm going to the dog park with her this afternoon for an outing. Wheelchair and darth boot for protection however!

So far I've walked to the Common House twice....and back! Once last night and once today. Those last 20' really hurt, but I can't make it any shorter!

Someone who lives here just emailed regarding a keg tonight...that might be motivation to try the walk again tonight!
