Hi there :)

I know that it has been a long time since you posted, but I had similar nerve pain that you describe, burning, pins and needles to the touch etc (this was on my leg that was NOT broken but it was the leg I "rode the stairs down on" during my fall. Amitriptyline has made a great improvement (about 75%). It doesnt burn so bad, and I can sleep on that side now when before I couldnt.

Just thought I would drop you that line in cast you are still having issues. My neuro called it pioformis entrapment or something like that. She said once the other leg gets to working normal etc then that should improve. She also stated in general the pain etc will improve may not totally be gone, but it should be bearable and not interfere with daily life.

Email if you wish,
Marleah :)
