Wow, I thought I had had a bad run of luck this year (the peak being my 3rd broken leg for this lifetime) but you have outdone me by miles!!! I'm going to take your story as a warning that now my leg is probably more vulnerable to breaks than before. I'll bet hardware in the bone makes it break easier (you are perhaps saying "yes, duh" but my OS didn't say anything about that). Perhaps I will be carpeting every floor surface in my home, as all of your slips were catastrophic I don't want to have ANY.
