Thanks for the reply, sorry to hear about yours too, I would not worry about comparing too much, everyone is different, the weight I put on the leg initially was very light and has steadily increased until now, but then I had some major titanium put in which could take the full weight right away, I just could not take the pain! I can walk on one crutch now if I really want to but its not very comfortable and I dont really want to overdo it until I have my next X-ray in two weeks time (Post 13 weeks). Hopefully the consultant will says its ok and I can start some PT. Mine was quite a bad complicated break and I am thinking it could be up 6 months before I go back to work, but it also depends on each persons circumstance, however, from people I have spoken to I would say you may be optimistic about going back to school in August and than 4 months would be a minimum, your age should be on your side though. You will probably get stressed being layed but you need to relax and be patient, you can not rush these things, at my age I,m enjoying the break(no pun) from work, no stress!
Good Luck
