My daughter had her OS appointment today and we got some good news. The darn thing is FINALLY beginning to heal. He said the bone is knit at the top and that the rest should be coming along soon.

The really good news is she can now be released to go to PT with no restriction and her PT cannot wait because she already has excellent ROM and trace edema. She has also been released to do low impact activities like walk (with two shoes on, no small achievement), ride a stationary bike etc.

She goes back on Dec 1 and hopefully she will be released for good at that point. Hope its an early Xmas present for her.
