Yes, Darth is certainly heavy, but it's nice to be able to get some air and wash the leg, that's for sure. I know what you mean about the "dangling leg" going unsupported--kinda scary. You might start "pretend" walking with no real weight on your leg then increasing it as tolerated. At least this way you are using walking movements. It does feel overwhelming to start bearing weight, but go very, very slowly. My body finally reached a point when I knew it was "ready to go" at about week 9-10.

I think I could write a darn novel about BLs and significant others, but this forum is certainly not the place to do it. Feel free to e-mail me if you ever need to "chat" outside this web site. The whole thing is crazy, isn't it?

How's your son doing with your BL even though I know he's young?
