Comment : Re: Bone stimulator insurance requirements
Posted by Connie W. on Tue 4:49pm 25 July 2006

My husband broke his foot back in 4/06 this year. Went to regular family dr. and it still has not healed. went to specialist and he wants him to wear the boot again and invest in this 4700.00 bone stimulator. They tell us that our ins (individual policy with 2500.00 ded) will pay but we have to pay the deductable up front or in payments. I decided to do some reasearch , came across these postings and now very reluctant to encourage him to proceed. I dont trust ins. companys , and we can not be left with having to pay for a 4700.00 device (to do what with later on??) with a chance of having no ins. coverage and possiblity of it not working and having to have surgery anyways. Anybody have any solutions?
