Comment : Re: When will the cast come off, hypothetically?

I am going to pick up the images from the radiologist today so that I can drop them off at the OS. Hopefully he will have a chance to look at them before my appointment on Thursday morning. I am almost 85 percent sure that there is something wrong -- that the rotation has occured. Now it's just about coming to terms with what I have to do about it.

If the rotation is not an issue, I should have the cast off within the next six weeks or so. Not sure when exactly. I have always been told that the average healing time for my break is 20 weeks and so I just hit 14. I have not seen my OS for a month now and have been doing weight bearing this whole time and I am pretty confident that there has been substantial bone growth during that time because standing on the leg brings me no pain. Maybe I can get the cast off on Thursday and move to a boot? (It's difficult to be optimistic when I am anticipating having this thing broken again.)
