Hi all,

Mine happened at 6 am, October 25 2005. I was crossing the street. I was in the crosswalk, had the light to cross, and a car came down the main road into the side street where I was crossing the street.

The car hit me at 20mph and broke my right tibia and fibula. I was thrown onto the crosswalk and unable to move in on the ground in the rain. Another car would have finished me off.

I had the trauma routine, the paramedica came, put me in the rescue once I was able to be moved, my clothes were all cut off, and I was put on morphine. My leg was broke in two.

The surgery was that night. I now have a titanium rod and screws in my leg to fuse the bone back together. Ill have it for life.

FOr now, I feel a lot of anger, although the pain isnt so bad. I need help with everything. I really hurts my pride. However, Im getting better and getting really good on the crutches. Ill keep posting.
