Here is a story for you. While I was still in NWB in a wheel chair, my husband took the dog and went outside to shovel the lane way after one of our wonderful storms. He whistled for the dog to come and as she landed on the front porch she let out an ungodly yelp. He had to carry her in because she couldn't walk. You have to picture this now...I'm on one love seat she is on the other, my poor husband is sitting in the wing chair looking at the both of us. I thought he was going to cry, he was the only one left standing in the house. It was so sad that night it normally took my husband 3 trips up stairs to get me and all my stuff in bed but that night he had to make an extra trip to carry the dog up also. Taking the dog to the vet the next day we found out that she needed surgery because she had torn all the ligaments in her left back leg and her knee was swinging free. So here I sit, I'm now PWB and hobble around on crutches and the dog is hobbling around beside me on 3 legs and my husband is heaving a great sigh of relief because he can now see light at the end of the tunnel. He is my hero!
Hope you are doing better
